Linden Lab Issue ID: DEV-11036
Linden Lab Internal Branch: havok4-6

 Description  « Hide
Pushes applied to avatar by another avatar's scripted attachment does nothing in Havok 4. Combat: Samurai Island scripted weapons (swords) apply a small amount of push on a kick attack, which in a Havok 1 is sufficient to knock an opponent back 2 meters and up about a meter.

In Havok 4 however, the same amount of push is not even noticeable. It does absolutely nothing. This code has been working perfectly in it's current state (for more than 15000 users and over 1.2 million duels) for more than a year in Havok 1, but in Havok 4 this bug is having a profound impact on the C:SI combat system.

Surely this is symptomatic of a more general problem, though when I tried to describe it in more general terms I was not successful in getting the point across.

Reproduction is easy : Using a C:SI weapon (IM me for one if needed) perform a kick attack against another avatar in a Havok 1, and contrast the resultant push with the same steps performed in a Havok 4.
