completely agree... it seems silly having to create more groups when more roles would cover the issue... I'd willingly pay to have extra functions or change a name (like remover the 'the' in a group name)
I think more roles would suffice on this one for certain groups like the RP sims and such for bloodlines and the like
I think we should be allowed say 25-30 roles per group. It might reduce the need for some groups, as long as they find a way to implement the option to show notices to specific roles I can agree. The option to add additional roles, or other features would be a great benefit. I have already run into the role limit in a couple of RP and Business groups.

In RP communities that have thier own organizations, factions, families, etc. It is common to have a ranking system. Some of thse organizations might be small while other very large and complex. It would be of great help to those who like to keep all thier roles into 1 group instead of spreading it out into 4.. or 5 groups.
I know of a few factions/organizations that have as many as 5 groups for thier one organization because there just isn't enough roles to go around for every little rank.
I rather push for no limit on the roles, what's the point of limiting them anyway? Database concerns of people over doing it? Well what about those people who would go as far as getting 5 groups anyway to do this? If cost is a matter, why not have it that you can increase your group's roles by paying a small linden fee?
Or better yet.. to add more features to you group you would pay a small fee. Such as changing the group name, adding roles, more detail permissions, have a larger archive for notices, being able to add more than 1 attachment to a notice and so on such forth. Each new feature or improvement could string along a linden fee.
People who run huge organzations wouldn't mind pay the extra fee if it kept everything under 1 group. Cause honestly.. they are already paying a fee for having 5 groups.. why not let them free up those group slots and have it all under one group?
