Hey,

This is linked to this thread: http://forums.secondlife.com/showthread.php?p=1491485#post1491485 .

Some groups that own islands for example, have "MySim'sName Management", "MySim'sName Rentals", and so on, because each group has different land, and allowing renters to place stuff on the protected sim land, isn't good. So, like Linking in JIRA, how about Sub-Groups?

Since this is an on going issue/feature request, can we please have a comment from someone at LL as to the status of this? Is it possible? Is it being ignored? Is it even being considered?

Sub-groups or departments/divisions whatever you call it would be great for larger businesses and role-playing groups that would like to not only set an individuals role, but further organize them into sub-groups. I am in 2 companies that use 2 groups for the same business, 1 group for the general public and 1 for staff and we don't have enough roles in either. If we could merge the 2 by being able to setup subgroups for the staff members with more roles specific for them that would be a great benefit. Not to mention saving group slots and making organization and tracking that much easier.
