This is .... so not fixed. *cry
i simply cant get anything over like... 75 kg to lift itself back up after giving it a funny look, or dropping a pin on it. It cant carry weight to save its life, its suppost to be able to replenish energy even if up to 800 kg (ok but its gonna fly right by its target if we actually get that to work lol) but i cant even move a couch with it unless i torture the prims all to heck and hollow and cap everything and l;egh; shalgkjdfhsagjhe ;gkjlba; dlfbhvl oawhetga34059q32740569q87w-8934y!!!!!!! 70 kg = one solid cube at <1.913,1.913,1.913> in size. thats like... thats the size of the box my cookies came in this christmas from our friends overseas. a LOT of cookies, but a two yearold could have held the atlas pose with that over his head for an HOUR without getting grumpy. but my llMoveToTarget() now has the strength of a toddler. HELP! The same can be said for most of the scripted H4 functions. Objects that could be pushed, moved, or impuled are no longer moving.
This has broken my GEODE vehicle totaly Darling My elevators, which I reported in
I can independently confirm – this one is fixed. The elevators are not quite as smooth as they once were, but they work (and they don't overshoot either).
I'm going to close this one. If any of the other cases are still failing, it can be reopened, but otherwise I think we can call this one done. Hi, sorry that I have to be the one that re-opens this :} but I have stuff using llMoveToTarget that worked fine for a week after Havok 4 hit main grid, then around 8th or 9th, it all broke.
Since the 8th or 9th, llMoveToTarget no longer has enough strength to move stuff upwards. This is stuff that has been working as is for 9 months now. So this ain't fixed, or if it was, you know who broke it yet again ;} Hi Chaz. You should probably provide some direction on how to find the objects that don't work anymore (what and where they are), given that the elevators I mention at the top of the bug do work and can therefore no longer be used to see the problem. Assuming these are rezzed, in-world items that is. If not, you might need to lob a copy at of a failing item at one of the devs so they can see the issue.

Dunno if the Lindens are still watching this or not. Meanwhile, I continue every night to try to come up with a workaround, short of tying helium balloons to the roofs of the elevators :{ Sample of a broken script now posted here in scripting forum:
So, prior to the rollout of server 1.21 I took my elevators onto the beta grid. There, they worked again just like normal, so I thought kewl, they fixed whatever they "broke."
But on the maingrid, with the rollout of 1.21, they are back to being broke. Can't lift themselves, strength of a toddler, all the symptoms people described. Now, it may well be that someone is going to say llMoveToTarget is working as it's supposed to. But the fact is, we can't pretend that it don't work different than it used to, because it does – there are just too many reports still of people going "hey, what happened to my llMoveToTarget ." And I have no idea how to get the attention of a Linden on this. Well, they try to deal with problems in order of severity. That said, if you can produce a simple example that demonstrates the failure and send it to them so they can just rez it and see the problem, that helps a lot, both in demonstrating a problem and giving them an item to test with while attempting to fix it.
I tried the script posted in the thread you linked to, but... it appears to work perfectly, at least when placed in a fresh 3.5 x 3.5 x 0.5 prim as described in the first post of that thread. Perhaps the problem has finally been fixed. If not, a better repro recipe is needed. Well, that script don't work for me, you're lucky! grin.
To whom do I send it? llMoveToTarget behaviour definitely has changed. It's even busted all the "huggers" in SL. I just wish I knew if this is something they intended on, or did it by accident, and if we go to all the zillions of hours adjusting for it, if they are going to change it back to how it was and make us undo all our work. Sigh. It's like watching a keystone cop movie at times :{ I think they were mucking with it, according to this: I'd show up at the Havok4 office hours to see who wants a copy, or better yet, to demo the problem (since from what I've seen, everyone else who tries the script reports it works perfectly – if you can repro it, perhaps we can see what it is you're doing differently that's causing the failure).
As for the huggers, they're definitely not all busted, but some are. Again, knowing specifically which ones don't work and being able to demonstrate it will help, otherwise they just try one, see it works fine, and move on. A bug can't be fixed if it can't be reliably reproduced. >> Gaius Goodliffe - I tried the script posted in the thread you linked to, but... it appears to work perfectly, at least when placed in a fresh 3.5 x 3.5 x 0.5 prim as described in the first post of that thread.
Gaius, I bet you didn't stand on it?? Cause yes, it works when you're not on it. Here's some test results on this script http://forums.secondlife.com/showthread.php?t=253708 Starting at 519, destination height of 568. It got to 553, sunk down to 541. It struggled back up to 550. Down to 541. Up to 550. Then, continual seesawing between 541 and 550. This is changed functionality for llMoveToTarget in a script that had previously worked for several years. Busted like almost all the huggers – reports of busted huggers are everywhere FYI, here's the JIRA on huggers, which has been reopened and marked critical:
Actually I was standing on it. But I was at a lower altitude, so I just retested it, placing a fresh 3.5 x 3.5 x 0.5 prim at 519m altitude and an unmodified copy of the script from the thread into it. You failed to say what command you're giving to get the observed behavior. I tried a number of different floors for the "goto floor X" command and none of the caused it to attempt to go to 568m, as you say above, but "goto floor 5" did have a target of 569m. When I tried this, the elevator (which I was indeed standing on) rose to 569m without difficulty. Like poster #2 in the referenced thread, everything worked perfectly except for the missing sound error.
Are you possibly wearing a shield of some other device that tries to keep you from being pushed? Try removing your attachments and see if it makes a difference. In any case, showing up at the Havok4 office hours and demonstrating the problem would be helpful, then we could see what it is that you're doing differently from the rest of us that's causing the difference. Resolving as "needs more info"
If you think this is still an issue, please re-open it, and add latest server versions Thank you, – Christophe003 Carter Yep, was resolved for our biz sometime in June-ish I think it was. Many thanks to the various Lindens who worked on fixing it for their hard work.

SVC-867is marked as fixed. However, I am still seeing the "overshoots the target" behavior on the western elevator in build 79349. It appearsSVC-867is fixed when it comes to small prims, but larger, heavier objects like my lifts are still overshooting. But maybe that's related to this bug. I'll wait until this bug is fixed, and if the elevators still display the behavior, reopenSVC-867at that time.
