This is a bug reported to me by someone else related to another avatar who, by description, has a slow load of inventory, all the usual procedures have been followed ie clear cache etc etc etc to no avail the user name (avatar) is " insomnia barzane " (me I am Frodo Hartunian ex Mentor and practicing SL bum) well I not seen the person as I was asked to look into it...couldn't find any answers and the resident is rather upset... her clothes don't load etc and this has been on going for about a week ( so I gather from the intel) could some one pweeeease take a look for this person or gimme a real solution to give em ....oh yeah the one that was helpin in the first place who asked me to look into it is a practicing SL Mentor I will get her to report as well............THANKS GUYS .........wanna get this resolved ....

I'm seeing this problem as I type this. Much of my inventory is missing, I have an inventory "Loading..." message up for the last 10 minutes and, worst of all, my avatar is changed to some default appearance. It has been like this for almost 24 hours now.

You are not alone.. please note the other issue links... Please file a service request via the KB. Don't expect a fast response.. my request has been in the queue for about 3 days..

Hey guys ..after a bit of a errmm, dummy spit etc etc etc...I now settled, and yeah lettin it ride...just got a tad upset for the fact it had been tagged "resolved" when it was only like, two hours after I posted it, I then got back in contact with the one who asked if I wouldn't mind helppin her with it (I was once a mentor and can't run and hide now ..still getting asked to do stuff...SIGHS ) so ya...in a nut shell, I am patiently waiting,...... not heard from either the user in question or the person (an SL mentor by the way ---- Kieohae Jewell) who asked me to help out ..just sittin back and waitin...

My inventory issue appears to be resolved.. I received a response to my support ticket from Pathfinder (the boilerplate response).. and upon logging back in I was no longer ruthed, and and I have not had the asset server barf any uncouth messages at me since login. Relogging has not presented me with any further "ruthing" either. I'll leave the rest to your imagination.. =)

If you want to get this fixed for Insomnia Barzane, you should really contact support to file a ticket at: http://secondlife.com/support

This as a bug should be made into the more general issue it is, the slow loading of inventory or not loading at all. Even though ~~VWR-5255~~ came first and this issue duplicates it, a Linden resolved it in favor of this one, so it really needs to be edited into a general inventory issue.

Ever since the HUGEMOUNGOUS down time today, April 5,2008, my inventory will not load. I've tried resetting my internet connection, in case that was the issue. I've cleared my cache and restarted the viewer. I even went so far as to uninstall, and then reinstall the SL viewer, all to no avail. It's not that my avatar is going around nude, but she's very ruthed because my skin and shape aren't loading, or any of my inventory for that matter. The only things that are loading are the things I had attached to my HUD. I'm really starting to lose my patience here. Please get this issue resolved as soon as possible. Thanks for your time.
