hi,

i like to suggest the use of the Greenwich
Meant Time (GMT) or Universal Time (UTC)
or Zulu time (Z) as the Second Life Time (SLT).

because:

it's not depending on a special region and
most people are used to this as a
reference for recalculating time zones and
there is no omnium-gatherum with daylight
savings, which is a regional phenomenon.

for a global system like second life you should
really use international standards. setting SLT
to PST with all impacts is short sighted and
lead to a lot of trouble and confusion.

please set SLT to GMT.

thanks,

tx Oh
