VWR-2149 Meta Issue: Various reports of avatars displaying incorrectly (ruthing, invisible, etc).

When removing all my avatar's clothes in order to change outfit, all layers seem to attach normally save for the shirt layer, leaving the avatar 'topless'. When removing the clothing via the inventory, the intended fabric appears for a brief second before being removed normally. This also has an effect server-side on others' avatars, wherein the clothes do not load for other users too. To clarify, this is not simply a 'texture missing' error - the shirt appears transparent.
A remedy can be sought when applying an undershirt layer. Whether applied before or after the shirt, both textures do load normally on the avatar.
