4. Second Life Misc Issues - MISC

Whenever I attach any of my clothes, my clothing texture engulfs my skin. For instance, glich pants for a short skirt go from a little above my hips clear to my toes...shoe bases make me look like i'm wearing tights in the creators texture.

 Description  « Hide
This bug happens anywhere, and it's not just me who sees it...other players see it as well and it is really beginning to hamper my game play to the point of me wanting to quit.

Pick an Item of clothing....wear it....normally a shoe base or glich pant item is garrunteed to work incorrectly.

Hi Cara,

it looks like you are having similar issues as described in http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7957.

as suggested there:

Try disabling (uncheck) Advanced->Rendering->Features->"Palettized Textures" in the advanced menu (ctrl + alt + 'D') and rebake your avatar (Ctrl + Alt + 'R'). You may need to re-wear your clothing that is misbehaving and rebake yet again if at first try it doesn't solve the issue.
