 Description  « Hide
No matter what av I am on when I wear gloves it also covers my top and when I put on boots/shoes covers my lower half .. obviously this is frustrating as it affects everything I wear and it covers me in that texture.
I have relogged, reistalled, cleared both Cache, restarted my computer, rebaked everything i can think of.

This has been happening for a week now.

I spend a lot of money on clothes I cannot wear because a am covered in the glove or boot texture.

It looks likely that you have an NVIDIA graphics card with version 177 or 178 drivers.

There are known avatar rendering issues for these driver versions:

  • VWR-7957 (Clothing skinning error on nVidia)
  • VWR-9358 (Texture rendering problem Nvidia 178.13 release drivers)

The following workaround has been reported:

  • Enable the Advanced Menu (Ctrl-Alt-D)
  • Disable rendering of Palletized Textures (Ctrl-Alt-F7, or Advanced/Rendering/Features/Palletized Textures)
  • Rebake (Ctrl-Alt-R)

You can also revert to NVIDIA 175.19 drivers to see if this resolves your issue.

I'm marking this issue as a duplicate.

Please look at VWR-7957 and VWR-9358 and add your comments/vote to whichever you feel more closely matches your issue.
If, you feel this is NOT the same as either of these issues, please re-open it using the link on the left, and add a comment explaining why.
