There must have been a muckup in the asset server because now one of the scripts that are part of the widely used and freely available MLP system is missing. Specifically, whenever I try to use any of my MLP based items, or a fresh copy from Miffy Fluffy's pick, I get the error "MLP 1.2: Could not find script '~pos'. Similarly, when I attempt to view that script (by double clicking it in the object's contents) it says the database is unable to locate it.

I suppose I'll try to track down a replacement copy of the script to use, but as this breaks a huge amount of content within SL I'm wondering if this can be fixed in the database.

Johan, thank you for reporting this issue. It's a duplicate of SVC-483 and related, possibly duplicate to SVC-2940.

Please add your comments and vote to SVC-483

Thank you

Scripts and animations from these products were removed by a DMCA take down in June, some accidentally (see MISC-1278). The blog entry here: http://blog.secondlife.com/2008/06/17/responding-to-questions-about-the-dmca-process/ describes what to do to get them back.

I certainly recall that take-down, as I was unwittingly a key player in that incident (my animations were among the pirated content.) I doubt this problem is related to that however. The affected script this time is straight from Miffy Fluffy, not one that had gone through Eva's hands. On the main forum others have indicated that the issue only crops up on certain sims, and thus appears to be problem specific to the asset server connected to those sims.

Thanks for pointing out the duplication Ellla. Before posting this I tried to find a report about the issue already, guess I didn't look hard enough.
