I can log in SL just fine,but when the screen for the game come up it is blank. I can talk to someone and hear them(text or voice) .ANndwhen I go to do anything else the screen does nothing and the top of the screen says not responding.

Hi Shoafreak, Can you please provide us with your full computer environment by going to Help/About Second Life and copying/pasting the information here. This will allow us to better understand your issue. Can you tell us the steps you take and what you experience. Can you also tell us how you are connected to the internet - Modem, DSL, wireless?

Shoafreak,

From the Second Life login screen (before you log on):
Choose "About Second Life..." from the Help menu
Use your mouse to highlight the information in the top half of the screen, then Ctrl-C to copy it to your clipboard.
You should now be able to paste it, using Ctrl-V

Please also run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool

XP: Click on the Start button and select Run. In the Open text box. Enter "dxdiag" and click OK > Save All Information.
