 Description  « Hide
PLEASE GIVE BOTS A DIFFERENT COLOUR ON THE MAP.

This could be a first - and easy - step to get rid of that one sort of bot avatars, which are used to pretend that there is a lot of traffic on a certain SIM.
We are actually COUNTING the number of bots that inhabit SL at the moment. It seems to be AT LEAST 20 per cent of the whole avatar count (higher percentage during times of weak concurrency, since many bots are logged in more or less the whole day).
Join us and make Botspotting your hobby.

By marking Bots on the Map with a different colour, LL could give us SLexplorers a tool against Land Owners who try to cheat. It's so disturbing, not only for newbies!
I am sure that LL CAN determine who is a Bot and who isn't. At the same time it would not be a problem for other Bot-Owners to have them blue or red on the Map, would it!? Model Bots, Test Bots or non-3D-client-users don't need points on the Map.

I totally agree with all the people who say: keep bot traffic off the Search. I also support the idea of giving them a special Tag above their names. But this is the easiest first step and nobody is hurt by it - except people who cheat!
