As we are given to understand from Linden commentary on Meta issues, Meta issues can "focus" and "group anything you'd like to keep a focus on".

This is a new, improved Meta Traffic proposal that gives you the best of the traffic proposals, ranging from keeping it as is to revising or replacing it in a rational way to sustain the economy, and also includes select bugs that impede its best performance.

I'll be reviewing all the traffic proposals and culling out the best ones for this new special Meta.

This is your new, premium, go-to Meta issue for making traffic or its replacement the best it can be and preserving, not destroying the SL economy!

NB: Posting of this Meta issue does not imply endorsement of atomization of Meta issues as a facet of the PJIRA, as I advocate the use of Meta categories to be all-inclusive but given that both residents and Lindens refuse to make meta categories truly meta, I'm compelled to start another Meta.

Your vote for this issue, whether you are for keeping traffic "as is" or replacing it with something truly better that doesn't destroy the economy, is a vote for rational, effective, and non-ideological treatment of the traffic issue, moving it away from visceral hates and dislikes not based in science, and toward an impartial solution.

I don't rely on traffic myself either as a retailer or as a shopper so I don't have anything really to say on whether to keep it or not however if nothing else it should be supplemented with more metrics for land owners (possibly even metrics that the land owner can directly publicize in a verifiable way (i.e. a direct way to grab the metrics in a way that they can't be "doctored" before being displayed, lsl would be nice) if not with visitor's names since that can be a privacy concern (albeit already possible with lsl) but having stats on how many NPIOF, POF, PU users, how many age verified users, hoa mwny non age verified users, how many premium, non premium and other juicy aggregate stats would be very nice to have.\

MISC-1165 looks like a nice start but doesn't include much of this as well has having other issues (no pun intended) in my view. Unfortunately creating an even remotely similar issue would be useless even if it was different since I'm sure it would be closed as a duplicate.
