This is a proposal to hold triages that focus on issues that have been around a while but have not had action taken, or which have been previously triaged and addressed any issues raised.
To this end; the triages would take a sampling of issues based on:
- Open status; if they are open, or were re-opened, then they should be addressed.
- Age; the longer the issue has been around, the more important it is that it is addressed.
- Greater than say...10 votes; issues that no-one has voted on are obviously a minority or unpopular proposal.
This serves two goals:
- It allows older issues that have accumulated a lot of votes to actually get some REAL attention. There are a lot of great ideas that we would LOVE to have that LL are ignoring because they're not recent or show-stoppers.
- It allows us to keep the JIRA tidy! There's no need for the sheer volume of open, and openly ignored JIRA issues.
