System skirt textures turn invisible on wearing

when in world and i select a skirt to wear it appears as an unrezzed item of clothing and once it rezzed is invisible until i edit appearance and then the skirt is visible for a brief moment, some times the skirt will appear with time but most of the time it will not. all other clothing is rezzing properly it so far is only skirts that will appear invisible.
