For a specific inventory issue I suggest contacting support (https://support.secondlife.com) by filing a ticket there since they are the only ones who can help you. In terms of general inventory loss issues there are already a dozen issues regarding problems with inventory loss.

This is not a general inventory loss, it's a specific known issue. Please see this issue, add your vote and comments there:

Some folks have been able to recover their property via a Linden fix.
